Not about the variant but apparently the state reported a backlog of cases today dating all the way back to May 2020

I heard that on the radio today and all I could do was laugh.
And several media sources probably included that number in whatever stupid sound bite they are using today without adding any additional information.

the Texas A&M scientists decided they should share information about the variant with scientists across the globe.

Those Peruvian and Ukrainian scientists are not going to like what is in store for them at Fish Camp.

This variant combines genetic markers separately associated with rapid spread, severe disease and high resistance to neutralizing antibodies

Don't worry, Hulk....it goes on to say that only one person had it and they just had a mild cough.

I’m convinced we are in the middle of some sort of biological warfare and nobody is directly telling us

I'd agree with this if not for basic epidemiology dictating that variants of crown viruses (flu, corona virus, common cold) mutate all the damn time.

Do I think covid 19 was a bio attack from that wuhan lab? You bet your arse I do though.
