This definition of racism opens the door to an intelligent and important conversation about the power gap between Blacks and whites.

Note the capitalization metric.

It’s a cut throat business and I know for a fact other venues have gone after White Magnolia in the past.

Your comment drips with irony, and the situation is rife with karma circling back.

These folks can be judged by their fruits, and the fruits ain't good.

Zero sympathy here.

Honestly this will probably boost business for them. People are tired of race-baiting lunatics.

A) These people are idiots. Clicking and posting these links is the exact thing they want you to do to give them a voice. It is always an out of towner who knows nothing about the culture of a state, pointing things out and then a bunch of white women jump on board

2) this quote cracked me up talking about shotgun style homes
quote:

'I do hope a lot of the people who are watching videos like mine, talking about this here, what this kind of architecture feels like, for people who are enslaved and for Americans who understand that enslavement is the central factor in creation of our country.'

He should be very happy to know that plenty of white and black people in New Orleans live in shotgun style homes and know what “this type of architecture feels like”…..and are perfectly fine with it. I’m sure I could find some examples in uptown that are north of $500k.

What pisses me off more than the guy whining about racism is the fact that a large online “news” site gave one random dude a platform like this.

Why? Why is he any different than some other rando online complaining about stupid shite?

Why? Because clicks. Clicks for outrage which draws ad revenue. This drives me fricking bananas. And for the most part, the OP doesn’t understand this because he shared it and brought it here and it’s 3 pages in and brought more traffic to that write up.

He needs to mind his goddamn business. I've been to Nottaway Plantation before when a black family was getting ready for a wedding.

I had gone to a wedding that was Saturday afternoon. They were getting married that night. This was a long time ago but I remember taking a field trip there and there were black people having lunch at their restaurant.

Its 2024 you dumbass. There are slave quarters about 2 miles from my house, they are used to house Mexicans during sugar cane season. But waste your time stuck in the past brother..

They cant find any actual racism so they have to attack buildings, statues, etc.

We stayed there for my cousins wedding last year. There’s not much in the area as far as hotels so it’s really convenient. The rolling hills and lakes for the kids to fish in plus the huge fire pit were really nice.

Highly recommend, 10/10

Those black people you saw were probably related to Sunny Hostin.
