Photography. I had a nice career selling real estate (had my own company).....then I picked up a dslr for the first time about 7 years ago.

I sold my real estate company and now travel all over the country taking pictures of commercial architecture.......and I make more money taking pictures that I did selling RE.

Weird how things work out. Never would have thought I’d be a photographer.

Me.. I had no idea I could yell a damn convincing and loud as shite YEEEHAW!
I love this place.

Someone actually impressed themself by yelling “YEEHAW” enough to come here to start a thread with it.

I’m pretty good at getting older but not getting old.

You don’t know if you can do that until the calendar forces you to decide every day to make choices.

Writing

I was lucky enough to take several writing / English classes in undergrad - now that I am an old man, I enjoy writing fiction and non-fiction work.

Once I am fully retired, I may go back to school for some more high level English classes - May even want to look at a path to teach writing.

My skills do not translate over to TD!!!!

I started working security in nightclubs in my late 30s and found that it was easy to tackle unruly patrons if I popped 10 Vyvanse, 3 mollies & smoked a bowl every 45 minutes.

I convinced the Laotian mafia street dealers to let me sample the MDMA in return for letting them sling pills in the club

I worked at The Keg, Longhorn After Hours, Shakers, Karma and Michael’s.

And a couple of rap concerts at Knights of Peter Claver and some other hood shite off Surrey.

Longhorn was my fave.

Developing players. Maybe it's teaching, but I've only used it in soccer so I'll stick with that.

I saw someone make a scorpion once and thought it looked cool. We had a lot of downtime and scrap wire on the job so I just took that basic principle and started twisting. Once I had the layout down I figured out how to layer and then got an idea of how to make the mantis and the dragonfly. I looked online for instructions but couldn’t find any so I just did it myself.

Made a crawfish and a crab and some other things too. Then a few times i’ve Had guests over and they liked them and so I sold them the ones they liked best.

I really wish I could find the crawfish. It looked awesome. I think it might be at a friends house
