15,000 years ago =\= 15,000 light years. That or whatever is sending these signals found a way to send signals very very quickly

The message has been decoded, it says:
"Drink more Ovaltine"
"Drink more Ovaltine"

Well luckily whatever signals we are receiving likely were sent out well before man existed.
If we send something back not sure you or I need to worry ? let’s FAFO
Alright im sold, let's send it.

If we send a message back to the source it will take 15 thousand years to get there.

Coincidentally, that matches the same frequency of my wife's "comments and suggestions" to me.

If that's a civilization capable of sending these signals a VERY long time ago, they were likely capable of Dyson spheres by now. It would be insanely far ahead of us in tech. We'd be ants to them, and we'd have nothing to offer them even as labor, free carbon, or resources if we communicated back.

“Our collision budget is a million dollars, and that lets us cover about 1% of the sky. And with all due respect sir, it’s a big arse sky.”

My money is on it being a magnetar.

If it was anything extra-terrestrial, and assuming that they don’t have more advanced space travel than we do, any message is thousands of years old before it gets to Earth

Are they all prime numbers? I’ve seen this movie and the ending sucked.

Unless they couldnt get past the great filter.

I hope it’s not alien enemies trying to shrink our reproductive organs, I won’t last long.

Unless they can transmit something faster than light that’s exactly what it means. A signal we receive today from 15k light years away left 15k years ago at light speed.

I was only responding to the worry about responding to them and they show up at our doorstep. They very much may be dead by now, but while tech adv may be beyond our imaginations as well as the life ending dangers, I think if they've made it that far then they've made it through the AI singularity and nano bot tech and thats very comforting when worrying about the great filter theory.

It’s the aliens… even they have Epstein list and are trying to share it more than Kashyap and Free Beer Tomorrow Bondi
