A very good friend of mine used to race a Honda 250R professionally, all over thee country, and the world for that matter. His name is Keith Little, you can Google him. His mechanic, George, is actually from Louisiana.
Anyway, his ATV is the single fastest thing, get up and go wise, that I've ever driven. It never stopped pulling/accelerating. You would go off the seat if you weren't holding on for your life. Those quads were worth like $10k each. He had several.
The cops wouldn't even give chase, they would just go to his house and wait.
His mechanic built one that had a snowmobile motor in it.
That's been a long arse time ago. He eventually signed on with Kawasaki, but I never rode one of those.
