A quiet Christmas Eve in a small town ... then here come the fireworks!

Who the hell celebrates Christmas with fireworks?
My neighbor two doors down is about to start his annual Christmas Eve blast off with an hour or so of fireworks. The doctor who lives behind his house and mine (big antebellum home on a large tract) is having a big Christmas Eve family dinner. How would you like to have a big quite Christmas Eve dinner and celebration only to have a cacophony of firework blasting nearby?

I liked Johnny Jones. I thought he could turn it around, but I realize that there are probably only two people who share my opinion - Johnny Jones and me.
I do realize now that my hope and belief in Jones was likely misplaced.

That’s actually pretty funny. You can’t enjoy a nice, cool, Christmas Eve walk with your dogs or listen to some nice Christmas music coming from some local shops because Jimbo and Billy Bob are down the street blowing shite up.
