God spoke it into existence because He's God. He wrote the laws of physics and can break them anytime He chooses to.

He created earth for man because He wanted fellowship and worship. Man turned out to be a poor I vestment, so much so that His own Son had to be sent to redeem them.

We worship a God with an imagination and intellect that is beyond a human, finite mind. There are some of His actions - at least for now - they are what they are - there are reasons yet to be revealed as God reserves the sovereignty and providence over His creation.

I have wondered if the expanse of the universe might not be the 'many mansions in my Father's house'.

Enjoy that which has been revealed - what we call discovered - and allow God His place and the one He has created for us
