It was an okay video until they started telling people wtf to do with their kids.

"what people do with their kids" is why we have such rampant obestity in the US. those lifelong habits are formed by the age of 10 in most cases

but is this sarcastic post your way of saying that people should be told how to raise their kids?

no, it's more of a "if you do this, your kids will more than likely be unhealthy...likely fat, too"

if you want to raise unhealthy kids, then you're free to do so. don't try to skip out on your blame, though

I agree with you, but that's not at all what was meant by the post I quoted.

of course people should be told how to raise their kids. there is a difference between private-social shaming and public-government requirement

"being told" what to do implies some level of force.

I'm not sure what your objective is. I'm pretty sure we are in agreement. My original response was to a post about subsidized health care being a reason to force people to raise their kids a certain way.

If 70% of Americans are overweight, shouldn't that be the new weight?

They need to have a Spanish version showing mom giving the baby flaming hot Cheetos and coke in the sippy cup.

And those getting up in arms because they are "telling us how to raise our kids"...the whole point of the video is to make parents aware that the choices they make while the kid is younger that they think is harmless...sets up lifelong habits whether they like it or not.
