It's hard enough to survive in the wild alone. If there are physically intimidating contestants, it adds a huge mental wrinkle, especially for the females. Surviving in the wild is 90% mental, so I would think the threat of being raped then murdered would frick with one's psyche even more than normal. Of course, you'd have to be a little insane to go on this show anyway.

Nah, you got it all wrong. The number one killer in the wild isn't frost bite or bear attacks, it's loneliness. You know who doesn't get lonely, the dude who's going out and raping everything with a pulse. That's how you survive in the wild.
