I like to get up before the sun comes up to a bowl of cream o wheat and some bran flakes. Then go out front and read the paper and tell people ti get off my lawn all day.

Don't kill them; serves no purpose. Get up early and take a nap later.

The birds also eat shite you don't want around like insects.

They’re probably mockingbirds being the early hour that it is. Sometimes they are at it around 2-3am at my place

Atticus said it’s a sin to kill mockingbirds so best to leave them be.

A yellow bird
With a yellow bill
Was sitting on
My windowsill

I lured him in
With a piece of bread
And then I smashed
His little head

We had a birds nest in between a gutter pipe and the house. It was a robin that was quite a prolific breeder. Had maybe 5-6 rounds of babies this year.

Then one day I looked out my window and a cat had somehow scaled my house and ripped apart the most recent round of babies and destroyed the nest.

So maybe get an outside cat?
