A hint of normalcy: Live indoor ticketed entertainment returning

Zanies comedy club here in Nashville will have live shows this weekend in front of a live paying crowd. The first entertainment venue that I’ve seen that’s doing that. Good to see. What other entertainment venues around the country are trying to return to normal this weekend?

I forget which one, but one of the local places in north AL was advertising comedy open mic night, but without the mic. They won't be sharing a microphone. So, they better be practicing their projection.

Zanies is owned and operated by the same group that owns Standup Live in Huntsville, AL and Phoenix, AZ. I don't like Zanies. The way they have their seating makes watching a show damn near torture. Standup Live Huntsville, however, is a much more comfortable viewing experience. I'm sure they don't have the capacity of Zanies, currently, but max capacity can't be too much different.

I’m guessing they’ll be spread out a bit inside. It’ll be a while before I’m comfortable enough to go back to a show in close quarters (like the Varsity, for example). There was a show I wanted to see in June at Basement East but that was ruined in the tornadoes anyway.
