A lot of these brands you have never heard of are made specifically for Aldi by the big Brands. Example, Millville Cereals, made by General Mills.
This is done for every house brand out there. If you walk into say domino sugar, you would see them packing sugar into domino bags for awhile. The line will stop. They change the bag to one label sam's choice or whatever, start the line back up. The same product is being packaged in different wrappers.

Why not shop at Walmart (support US job growth); use Savings Catcher to get a refund on the price difference? America and you win

Savings Catcher

Doesn't work on Aldi products, because the brands that Aldi sells are not available at Wal-Mart.

Aldi accepts cash, debit cards, and EBT. They do NOT accept credit cards, though.

So I guess that means I can't run my visa debit card as a credit card? Or is that with real credit cards?

We shop there and then kroger for the stuff they don't sell. They are across the street from each other so not a big deal. Saves around 30$ a trip times 4 a week.

Wait ´til LIDL gets here.

I've never been in an ALDI, but I've shopped the crap out of LIDL in France. They probably won't be the only store you shop at, but they were cheap and fill a niche.

Making you put a euro in the cart and not getting it back unless you put it back properly sure keeps the carts in order.

It keeps them from having to pay insurance claims for accidents involving their carts and cars or pedestrians.

They also don't have to hire multiple people to constantly collect carts from the parking lot like Walmart has to do.

Auldi from what I understand is pretty much the self checkout line in Walmart from the time you arrive until you get in your car and drive away. Including getting and returning the shopping carts.

That is one way they keep prices down.

They built one near my house, some stuff is really good and cheap like their pizzas, and other things are just ok but still cheap.
