Tell him to take all the money out of the bank accounts and put it in an unmarked offshore account. He should then approach his wife and while sobbing tell her he has a huge gambling problem and just lost all of their savings. Then and only then should he file the divorce papers.

Interesting. I’m wonder if my wife is trying to tell me something.

Best way to approach her is through a process server.

Explain to him how much cheaper it would be to keep her.

My divorce was a good financial decision. It's easier to plan around $1,100 / month in child support than it was to plan around "insane woman-child spending your money."

Certainty is worth a lot.

Which one is acting completely selfish? Which one thinks they are going to find happiness elsewhere? Which one doesn’t realize that marriage may not be for them (see first question)?

He must be brutal and he must be gone. The messiest situations are guys who file in a bold way and then struggle to go through with it.

Proper advice.

Clear out every single dollar he has access to then tell her.

He's going to need the cash for the butt fricking that will ensue.

The sooner he does it, the better he will be financially. Sure, he will take a big hit, but the longer the marriage the bigger the hit.

Read the Jonathan estes thread on the 1st page of the OT. He should have his attorney serve her with divorce papers.
