Thats what i was thinking. We were straight A students and class was so boring we had to find ways to "disrupt the class" to kill our boredom.

Stuff like this is why I entertain the idea of making school non-compulsory after, say, 5th grade.

I know there will be negative consequences to that but man, so much of running K-12 is behavior management as opposed to education. It’s a problem.

This is not hard to believe at all. Any elementary school teacher will tell you a disruptive student affects the whole class.
