Have they left their town? Yes people have called me smart, but certainly not the most intelligent person they've ever met. That doesn't really happen for well traveled people who meet smart people all the time.
I went to one of the most accomplished and highest ranked public schools in the state of Texas
It's not like it was a school full of inbreds and idiots

I think I was a Chad in the mid 90s. Thanks.

I got it tested in junior high and it was 129. Respectable but not genius.

A lot of his attention put into how to pick up women threw me off because it isn't something that requires thag much planning. Just show up and be yourself, if you aren't a total pussy or hideous then you can do fine.
What really blew my mind was the part about going on multiple dates but letting the girl know as little as possible about you because she will fill in the gaps with fantasies. The frick? Why not just stick to one night stands and lie if that's the plan

goldennugget is a solid poster for sure. He may not always be right but at least he's not afraid to ask the tough questions

What position did you play at TCU?

anime and its fans are really weird. i had no clue it was so popular until i started spending some time on reddit, and not subreddits that are anime based or related. people post about it like its normal or something.

Sorry education sucks in your state. Not my fault, though.

Women fantasize about finding their Prince Charming. Every guy they meet that they find themselves attracted to, they fantasize in their mind about how he is the perfect guy for them even when they don't know him too well.
Men do the same shite. I've done it. You have probably done it. You meet some chick, and in your mind began to formulate how she is your dream woman, perfect, the woman you are going to marry, and you mask any shortcomings she has.

I remember seeing those frickers on campus. You could pick them out really easy, there was one chick I knew in class and she was super hardcore into it, only watched them in Japanese, not English.

I mean I went to a school full of rednecks, and they would probably say that a redneck in my graduating class was probably one of the smartest people they knew. Yeah, he's intelligent, but I'm sure that I can never debate him about high ideas. If I were to talk about higher ideals in the cosmos at large, I don't think he'd comprehend it. That guy that most of my high school would describe as the smartest I'm sure I'm more intelligent than him, as are my two best friends from my high school.
I'm just saying that people who say that someone is the most intelligent man they've ever met tend to be dumb people who don't get out much. I've traveled the world and met many highly intelligent people. I don't think I've met a Christopher Hitchens as far as I know, but typically a well traveled and educated person has a difficult time pinning down who the smartest person they've ever known is. I don't think stupid people struggle with this, which is why they may call you such.
