anime and its fans are really weird. i had no clue it was so popular until i started spending some time on reddit, and not subreddits that are anime based or related. people post about it like its normal or something.

Its cringey

It reminds me of high school. I was in this class and there was a kid in there named Steven who was ultra obsessed with japanese culture and everything japanese. He refused to play Pokemon in English, had to import it from japan. Would watch anime only in japanese, not in english. He said he was going to move to Japan after he graduated and everything in japan was better.

I mean I went to a school full of rednecks, and they would probably say that a redneck in my graduating class was probably one of the smartest people they knew. Yeah, he's intelligent, but I'm sure that I can never debate him about high ideas. If I were to talk about higher ideals in the cosmos at large, I don't think he'd comprehend it. That guy that most of my high school would describe as the smartest I'm sure I'm more intelligent than him, as are my two best friends from my high school.

My high school was unique in that kids from all over the DFW area and even the state would transfer in to take advantage of the IB program we offered. It wasn't a run of the mill publics chool

I'll give you that. That is probably a more appropriate assessment

I am sure the schools in the Rio Grande Valley and inner cities drag whatever dumb metrics they use down

But suburban DFW public schools and Suburban Houston schools are really good and rank high on national lists.

Depends on the area.

South lake Carroll would probably shite on any public school in Ohio

Fair enough, but I have a natural affinity for the Jews. I actively seek their company. I do love their non-Orthodox culture.

That is totally different than going on several dates with the intent to not be yourself which defeats the purpose of dating in my opinion. If you want them to fill in the gaps for tons college bar and tell them you are in residency to be a radiologist or something

But nugg, this has been an interesting and entertaining thread. I don't think your a total moron but our styles our just completely different. I've just always found that be out going and myself works well while giving little a-hole jabs to let them know it's not fully in the bag.

Probably not, but don't care. I didn't come in bragging about Ohio's public schools.
