No doubt but they arent hiding the fact that they are releasing ppl due to the Virus

They are saying it directly and trying to justify it

So the released offenders were all parolees that failed to charge their GPS monitoring trackers and some didn't report to their parole officer? From what I can tell they were all sentenced to 180 days in jail for the parole violation.

I'm not arguing whether this decision was right or wrong and parole violations shouldn't be taken lightly, but it's not like California released these prisoners from their original sentences. Will they most likely violate their terms of parole? Most likely yes. Will they get the help or shelter they need? Most likely no. Can the Orange County correctional system take better care for these offenders better than the individuals can? I guess we'll find out.

Y'all are being a bit ridiculous.


They should have been let loose. Keeping them in jail puts them at risk of the coronaviris.


I agree with setting them free. I would have done so as well.

I however would have set them free in the Pacific Ocean without a boat and tied to a really heavy ankle monitor.
