If it is only 350 sq ft, buy a 5000 or 6000 BTU window unit for a couple hundred dollars, plug it in, and turn it on.

A 12,000 btu mini split would be around $1500 w/ taxes. Material a few hundred tops. Labor two men 1 day would be less then $700. Rest mark up. $3knspunds about right

You need to call the guys we use. Two brothers who work for a large company but do work on the side. They have saved us lots of money. Very good guys with great personalities. Call and get a quote from them before you buy from large AC company.

I was quoted a price close to $6,000 today. Is that in the ball park?
That's high. I had central air put in, 3.5 ton Amana for 650 sqft for $4200.

Problem is you have a pool house. They know you aren’t poor. They quoted you high hoping to make a ridiculous commission.

As said it should be under $3,000.

Btw prepare for some serious Bs on why it is high like the electrician has to run the power across your yard and that’s $3,000 type of BS.
