Has anyone here that has a newer Silverado had issues with the A/C?
I read online it is a defect with the condenser just wondering how much it cost y'all to get it fixed.

Can you pass on a bit of detail about your problem/issue?

How "newer"? Seems like if you can realistically use the term "newer" it should be under warranty.

I had this problem with mine, and what fixes it is resetting the thermal sensor. It takes a little while and you have to be going at least 60 mph for the reset to work. It's pretty simple, basically you need to drive with the heat on full blast for about 30 minutes to reset the thermal sensing unit in the internal computer

My 2014 Silverado is now on the third condenser. The cost is right at a grand each time.

Yes. Just had one of the AC lines replaced under warranty. But would have run me $600 without. If your condenser is bad, best of luck to you. There is a national back order of over 2 months. BUT, GM is sending the parts south first over the northern states so that should make you sleep nicely at night.
To replace the Condenser will cost $1400. The actual part can be picked up aftermarket, if you can find one, for under $300 and fixed at an automotive AC shop for half what the dealership wants.

Mine keeps the cab as cold as a meat freezer. If it broke, I would sell things to pay for the repair.

It's a 2014 Silverado, it will blow hot air about a month after recharging the A/C

I recharged the A/C in mid June and it was blowing really cold up until last week when it started blowing hot again.

Perfect time of year for this

I am waiting for condenser to come in as well for 2014 Silverado. I have recharged A/C myself 3 times. Issue stems from a bad weld on condenser. You can see the wetness from leak on driver side near hood looking through the grill.

I have a 2014 and had to have the condenser replaced a few months ago. Just got in before the warranty expired.
Worried about what's next because I never get that lucky to just beat a warranty. Usually the opposite. Lol

My 2001 Silverado started blowing hot 2-3 months ago. Wonder if it's covered under one of those secret warranties you have to know about?

My warranty expired like 3 months of go of course.

It is not unless you paid for one of the extended warranty. There is a frick ton of info on the web about this problem of next level frickery from GM that they are basically refusing to call an issue.
