What about Adventure Skate, where Church of the King is, man that place was a lot of fun. Those lock ins though??? Who though that was a good idea? I kissed a few girls at those events. I even asked a girl to go out with me there one night and broke up with 6 hours later. Good Times!

I'll always remember the Movies 8 - saw so many films in those ultra sticky floors.
Isn't the Live Oak range a STSO station now? Spent many nights in those batting cages.

I think adventure skate was more early 2000's. Damn good pizza though.

Almost forgot about swimming at the yacht club growing up, but that was more mid-80s to mid-90s. IIRC, that place was stacked with MILFs and cougars. Maybe that's why my dad wanted to go there so often

He and my uncle used to go to lingerie night at the pub in Covington every week. My cousin lived in old landing, and I lived on 8th street, so we took that time to practice mixing liquor out of different bottles so they wouldn't notice it. God that shite was gross

I spent a few summer at camp old hickory. I remember some weird bumper pool tables that I have never seen since.

5th beach was great

I think I played 8 man football at pelican park when I was 7 because we didn't have enough kids. The concession stand was a old army tent too. My memory is a little shady on this though. Too many concussions I guess.

I worked at Mande's in High School. Loved the owners, Mrs. Joan could be a hard arse but was a really sweet lady. I still try to go there when I am in town visiting my Dad. Their Eggs Bendict is amazing, and the table of Lawyers were great people.

One time I was at the Slidell Mall just after cashing my check in High School, and was pick pocketed. They found out about it and gave me $200 bucks. Nicest thing anyone has ever done for me.

I remember adventure skate, it was that jungle theme place. All the cool kids went to roller kingdom though.

Camp Old Hickory was awesome. We spent some serious time with the tether ball.

Statute of limitations baw

It's odd the transition FHS has made since I lived in Mandeville. It was pretty shitty back then

Anyone recall a snowball stand on the lakefront?

Canoeing on the lakefront after hurricanes was always fun.

Walking on the cement breaker by the yacht club that only had enough room for one person was a rush for a little kid.

I'd walk there with my grandpaw from Atalin St. and get a spearmint with condensed milk FTW.

Hangout place switched to Taco bell around 2000. I have no idea why they used to let 40 drunk high schoolers hang out in the parking lot, but they did.
