Here's an article with basic info and some interesting videos. It also talks about the "blood moons," which actually predict the end will come on Sept. 28.

Not going to pretend like I have read much on it, but the way I understand it is this is just the last of the 4 blood moons. Doesn't necessarily mean the rapture is happening now, but many believe the next few years. Some predict 2017 because that is when one particular "visionist" from a long time ago stopped with any of his predictions. Or something of the sort.
