Another valuable lesson this anniversary reminds us is that there ARE bad and evil people in the world. Dialogues, "starting conversations", embracing diversity will not fix this.

Evil must be called out for what it is.

Then stamped out.

That is pain but that’s a fathers love. I have 5 kids and I’d say the same 5 times over.

I have prayed those very words, and yes, that is some pain.

During the September 10, 2011, UCF-Boston College football game in Orlando, Florida, a day before the 10th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, both schools honored Crowther. Boston College players wore helmet stickers featuring Crowther's signature red bandana during the game, and Crowther's sisters, Honor Fagan and Paige Crowther, were introduced to the crowd during the third quarter.

This is what we should be doing. Now we honor pedophiles and rapists on our jerseys.

Thanks for posting this! Although terribly heart breaking, it shows there’s a silver lining - people are still raising good, unselfish kids even if they don’t get the attention they deserve - it’s a shame what the media focuses on these days

I’m a big BC fan and I’ve read a lot about 9/11 and I’ve never seen this story!

I cried - wow. I want to show my kids this video but I’m not sure if I could not cry again

I watch this feature every year on 9/11. Showed my son today for the first time. He asked me, "What's your red bandanna?"

In tears. I have no answer.
