I could do it that fast but I'm not 81 yet

I can't do that since I had a complete patellar tendon rupture and knee dislocation. My hopping is getting faster, but he'd kick my arse.

I’m 52. Ran a 5k and avg 7:08/mile. Good for me. Dude behind me ran a 7:15/mile. He was 68. Total fricking unit. Looked like a Greek God.
Goals.
Goals.

I was athletic as hell as a kid, could absolutely fly, now my old body is giving me the big old frick you for putting me through all of that, still try my best to keep in shape but that old codger would smoke me, maybe lap me, but if he did I'd trip him with my walker

Shite idk if i could do that and I'm under 40. I'm a midget, though.

I would comfortable saying that 95%+ of people above the age of 80 can’t even do a full 200m sprint, much less post a legit time.

I’m 50ish and have been able to run 15mph on treadmill for 20 seconds in recent weeks (Ultra Fit class). I have no idea how that would equate to this impressive feat.
I’ve been lucky with injuries so probably the biggest variable would be continuing that luck for 30 more years. Pretty sure I’ll always prioritize sprinting over jogging/running.
Feels like I can still improve before the decline starts. I’ve held 16 mph for about 8 seconds and getting closer to more sustained. I don’t think I can do 17 mph.
