Every other week I work 2 twelve hour shifts. Those weeks are fricking incredible.
However, most honest Americans are obsessed with not looking lazy so they will try to outwork anyone at the cost of killinh themselves and their personal lives.

I'm sure he amassed his fortune legitimately my company stopped doing business with Paraguay because there is an Al Qaeda training cell in the no mans land between Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina, and Brazil, that Paraguay seems to be very tolerable to, we gave them shitloads of money to take care of the problem, and they just pocketed the money, I'm sure he had no involvement in this whatsoever

Nice thing about being at work is that it keeps you from spending money. For the people that don't make much money it would be really tough making ends meet while staying entertained for those 4 days off.
actually, people spend for convenience because they don't have the time for much else outside of work.
change your oil? wash your car? mow your lawn? make breakfast or lunch for yourself? make your own damn coffee?

I'd definitely work 3 11 hour days to have off the other 2 days.

If rather 3 12's and a 4. I don't be wanting no pay cut.
There are plenty of people who work 80+ hour weeks every week and love it. Some people like to work and make money. That's how guys with no education and a good work ethic can make a very good living. American dream and such.

The five day work week is very antiquated especially in an office setting. The majority of the longer work week was all initiated because of production of the industrial movement, and the competition between companies. With the speed that we have to finish tasks in offices, the five day, forty hour work week doesn't really correlate in the modern technological era. It is time for a reevaluation.

Unless he is 100% owner (he isn't, btw) he can't just "make it so" unless other shareholders agree.

I'm pretty sure that's incorrect. I doubt the CEO of a company has to check with the shareholders every time he wants to make a decision.

yep, shareholders don't have a say, unless you have an individual, or a bloc controlling a majority of the shares that is trying to usurp the CEO

What does Carlos Slim have to do with Paraguay? Genuinely asking.

If I revealed that, we'd both be in grave danger.
Honestly, I can't prove that he does anything with them, but I'm pretty skeptical of him being on the up and up. I guess the only "legit" business that I've heard he does with them is telecommunications.

However, the main agent of change on this would have to be on the employer side. They're the ones stuck on "hours" versus "work actually produced" for the most part.
Not mine.
I get paid for 40, but work 30-35.
As long as I get my shite done, she doesn't care.

Totally think we should switch to a 4 day work week.

I definitely would buy a yacht that costs at least $200 million.
I've been on a $30 million dollar yacht, and I don't believe I needed $170 million more worth of luxury.

He made a vast majority of his wealth like the robber barons with a monopoly over the Mexican telecommunications market.
The tri-border area is a pretty fascinating place, apparently a haven for criminals of all sorts.
