You remember it being cold in BR? I grew up in Beaumont in the 70s and 80s and it was hardly ever cold on christmas. We were usually out riding our new bikes and throwing our new footballs.

It's an annual tradition. Every year, people say how much they hate the cold and would rather deal with the heat than ever live in "Yankee land," and then they bitch and moan when it's not cold on Christmas.
