When I was young a classmate had a tonsillectomy. He went into arrest during the procedure. The doc busted his chest and did cardiac massage. He was revived and is living to this day many years later. A doc I knew said tonsillectomy’s come with some risk. It is an awful thread though.

My 9yo daughter has hers removed this summer.

Thank goodness the only "complication" came in recovery when she coughed up her first layer of tissue the second day. Poor kid was supposed to hold onto that for a few more days and didn't. Those next few days where was nothing we could do for the pain.

As I sit here watching my lil girl run all over ( she’s 1) I can’t imagine my life with out her.!

a straight A student at 7? So she could spell her name and add 2 + 3? It's a terrible situation but that's an odd descriptor for a 7yo.
