people will watch.

Were they watching though? It was on at my family's Christmas dinner, but no one was actually watching other than an occasional moment where someone caught a play and said "check out this play". It was looked at and then back to what we were doing.

I feel like they took the number of actual streams and added a few more eyes assuming people were actually watching.

I still watch more NFL as well. It’s just a far better product from a pure football perspective.

I love football as much as anybody but I bum Netflix off of family and their household limit or whatever stopped me from being able to watch. No way I'm subscribing just to be able to watch those games and tbh I don't give a shite if they put the Super Bowl on there I'm not paying just to watch it either assuming my team isn't in it (my team is the Titans and it's been proven it requires a literal miracle for them to get there)

That math doesn't work. I don't believe any of these ratings numbers. Every week they tell us it's the best ever.

Yes streaming services numbers are heavily fudged. It's not like the old Nielsen ratings which were a fancy mathematical guess but still least done by an independent third party.

Both of these games were hot garbage too. Proof the NFL can roll anything out there on whatever platform and people will watch.

Fantasy football and gambling.

I hear some people says "I'm done with the NFL!. Never going to watch it on streaming."

News flash: you are not their target market. They don't care if you quit them.

I'm relatively old (64) and I see that. Then again, I'm technologically literate and I'm a big consumer of streamed content. But people my age and older are not the target market. They are looking to reel in the young kids with short attention spans. The ones who would rather watch on their phones while they are out and about than sitting in front of a TV.

Also, for the fantasy football players and the gamblers - much easier to provide real-time interactive capability with streamed content.

Example: make a bet on the outcome of the upcoming play.

All of you people who say you are done - they are not going to miss you.
