Most of the jobs that are online can be completed perfectly fine from home....

Teaching isn't one of those, so I'm not really sure what point you're trying to make here.

Part of being a teacher is the daily interaction with the students, in person.

With my job, I have no need to interact in person with anyone.

A teacher working from home is not providing the same level of service as they would in person.

I provide the exact same level of service, no matter where I work. Home, office, a beach in Belize.

I'm not necessarily advocating pay cuts for teachers, but the reality is that a teacher teaching from home is doing far, far less than what they normally would do in person. And it's no different from any other job who's foundation is person to person interaction.

There's nothing vindictive about it. Don't want your personal issues discussed, don't share them. Pretty simple.

As stated earlier, not all professions are equal. Some professions can be performed from home without a loss in productivity or efficiency. Certain professions, like teachers, doctors, nurses, you kind of have to be on location to do your job.

But food service places can take a reduction in pay as well since they are doing mostly take out orders and not dealing with people.

They are. It's called layoffs and furloughs. Most restaurants have reduced their staffing considerably to adapt. Cooks, and the 1 or 2 wait staff left shoulnd't have their pay reduced, if they are doing the same job.

But then also, these are private companies. They can do what they want with their money. Public education is not private money, thus the public gets a say so, or at least should, on how it is spent.

Nobody agrees with what you're saying, jackass. Keep spinning though.

As far your personal situation, good luck on less income a week now. Hey, your problem. Not mine. Maybe you should have made better decisions, right? You make adjustments.

See how fricked up that sounds? That's basically what you're saying.

At what grade levels? Because something tells me you're think high school/college, and that's not really the topic of this thread.

He says, in a thread full of people complaining about not being able to send their children back to school.

You attacking me for my job loss says more about you than it does about me.

How crazy that we expect others to do their jobs and earn their paychecks when we have to do ours

Online learning does not work for elementary aged kids. They need in class instruction and follow up so they don't fall behind. Pretending otherwise is simply not living in reality.

Now high school may be different. But then again, the kids are losing real time social interaction with others, which in todays world, is needed more than ever, considering the poison that is social media. Mental health is on a disturbing downward trend for young people, nowadays. Stay at home orders only amplify this problem.

And that's exactly what was said to me in the unemployment thread.

You don't like having this turned around on you, do you?

Wait, so your entire "tough shite" spiel in regards to parents working from home, was simply a "i know you are but what am i"? You need to grow up.

So because somebody said that to you, you're gonna say it to others in a completely different thread about a completely different topic?

How old are you? 13?
