All those homes in these nice locations are never getting rebuilt are they?

Those poor rich people

So tragic that Barbara Streisand lost her $3.2m beach home.
Guess she’ll just have to be happy with her $11.3m home on Long Island and her $8m home in the Hamptons.
I really feel her pain.

Yeah, I just caught the last part of the segment but it sounds crazy. Think about how New Orleans rebuilt after Katrina. That can never happen in Cali.

Wow. Show some class… you can have all the money you want but you can’t replace all the memories and such.. I’m not rich, but have lost everything twice… it’s awful.

Dang, Lynette must have raped him in divorce court, living in a condo driving a Mazda.

I took the reply as the poster responding to the OP which mentioned their luxury homes never getting rebuilt.

Well I sensed some rich people hate in the post. All I was trying to say was that no amount of money can replace certain things and it’s super tough when all seems and is gone.

I saw something on TV saying that the State or City has only issued 3 permits to rebuild.
No idea if it's true, but sounds about right for CA. I thought they were cutting the red tape to get people rebuilding faster.
I feel sorry for those who lost everything and all the dumb bullshite they will have to do to rebuild.
