Police 12:10EST: call came in at 9:06. Multiple wounded and multiple fatalities. Suspect is in custody in critical condition. No law enforcement shots were fired.


NBC reporting it was a female shooter

Police updated: not a active shooter situation and potential female shooter

Police tweet: “it’s a fluid situation and avoid the area.”

The building is in the area of Spesutia and Perryman roads in Aberdeen, which is in Harford County. Baltimore ATF is also a part of the investigation. Officials have not given an exact location for where the shooting occurred. A suspect has not been taken into custody. It is not clear how many people were shot or have died, but the Sheriff's Office is giving a media update just before noon local time today. Roads are closed in the area while police investigate, and a teacher at Roye Williams Elementary confirmed to WMAR television station in Baltimore the school is on lockdown. Church Creek Elementary School is also on a modified lockdown while the investigation occurs.

ABERDEEN, Md. (AP) — The Latest on the shooting in Maryland (all times local):

11:10 a.m.

An official says multiple people have been killed in a shooting Harford County, Maryland.

The law enforcement official has knowledge of the shooting but wasn’t authorized to discuss details by name and spoke on condition of anonymity to The Associated Press.

The Harford County Sheriff’s Office tweeted that there was a shooting Thursday morning in the Perryman area that involves “multiple victims.” They warn that the situation is still fluid and asked people to avoid the area.

The FBI’s Baltimore field office tweets that it’s responding and assisting the sheriff’s office with an active shooter situation. The Baltimore field division of the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives tweets that its special agents are responding too.

There was one yesterday in Wisconsin.

Workplace shooting. Shooter killed by police. 3 seriously injured, one has improved though.

Likely a disgruntled employee recently given termination notice as part of Rite Aid restructuring after Amazon bought PillPack and AI is taking over pharmacy distribution centers like this one.

Maybe someone walked into the wrong place of work by mistake and some new faces startled him/her.

I watched some of that yesterday as it was happening but I guess it wasn't bloody enough to attract any national attention.
