I will not even look but I bet Chicago has at least doubled up NOLA. They do not need a football game for an excuse.

Nah. Even at its peak in 1994, New Orleans' murder rate of 85/100k wasn't too far ahead of Richmond and DC.

Nonfatal shootings are tracking last year's numbers, which was about a 30% decline year over year.

It's because the right people were imprisoned and/or killed, but it's a tremendous reduction.

2015 - 164
2016 - 174
2017 - 157
