So one argument is to ban guns which obviously criminals won't listen to, but then the antithesis of that argument is to arm the teachers in these schools. So then you'd have a shootout going on with children in the middle. What are people's ideal solutions to this and why in your mind is that the one that you think would work?

From the neighbor, whose roommate was killed. Well if they didn't, they should've reported the suspicious activity to somebody. People who know the killer have the best chance (albeit low) to prevent these things.
