Religion is inherently about radicalization. Tell me what's not radical about the belief that a man died on a cross, rose from the dead and ascended into heaven? Or what about believing Jesus came to America, preached to the Indians and gave Joseph Smith golden tablets, and that when you die you get your own planet? Or that if you live a righteous life you will get 72 virgins when you die?

Religion cannot exist without radicalization. As a Christian, I understand that my beliefs are radical. It requires faith in things that cannot be scientifically proven. The difference between my radical beliefs and those of Muslims is that mine don't call for me to murder unbelievers.

Islam is a plague, and a violent one at that.

As a Christian myself, I see that your beliefs aren't very loving, and this seems to be a plague that has swept up a sect of our religion.

I blame a crazy terrorist individual swept up by a racial faction of an otherwise peaceful religion, and our gun culture.

Hey, when was the last time you saw a 13 year old white kid shooting at cars in downtown New Orleans?

Because White kids routinely shoot up schools?

Does it matter where they are shooting to you?

Religion holds you back. The renaissance is what got the Christians to move forward. The Muslims are still being held back by their religios beliefs.

Glad to see that the WH is treating this as domestic terrorism. Could have used that with Dylan Roof #cantruffletoomanyfeathers

Point taken. +1 for you.

But all you need to do is look to NOLA and Chicago violence to see a problem.

White kids shooting up schools is usually about revenge and outside of normalcy. And we tend to condemn those people.

Shootings in NOLA and Chicago are normal and are 99% committed by people who have been entrenched in that lifestyle since they were pre-teens. Its all about keeping it real as Chris Rock would say.

Both scenarios need to be addressed as violence issues and hopefully we have the balls to do so.

Stop giving kids prescription drugs because they are depressed because daddy didn't by them the Xbox 360 and we all know the issues with young inner city kids.

I heard stats today on WWL radio. Blacks 1 in 3 end up in jail. Latino is 1 in 7 and whites is 1 in 13.

I'm sure he meant radical, but it's so ironic.
