to piggy back (as I am a reservist and agree with you) and to enlighten some of the non military types here...a reserve center is where reservists drill or perform there IDTT periods...which are usually on weekends...BUT...most if not all reserve centers have personnel that are in a sort of active duty status that work there during the week supporting the reservists that drill on weekends...it would have been manned with several personnel today. likely prepping for next drill weekend...the other place is just a recruiters office....neither of which have any security for when they are there...maybe something like ADT for at night or what not but nothing to stop pedestrians from coming in off the street...
