My daughter was born in '98 and she graduates next year. She started high school at 12. Having a child about to graduate high school really makes me feel old. She is 2 years early. A lot of kids start taking honors 9th grade classes in the 8th grade or start kindergarten at 4 in private schools if they have a late birth day. Those two combined got her at the point she is at today. Quite a few kids in private schools do at least 1 of them and start high school at 13.
