Very suspect. Can guns just fire like that? This isn't the old west. Takes a lot of pressure on trigger, I'd imagine. But what kind of sick frick grandmother would do that? I understand you're disappointed in life, seeing as you became a grandmother at 42, but still.

So the gun just "went off" huh? Proof that people don't kill people, guns kill people.

Guns don't kill people. Idiots who don't know how to store a gun properly with a 3 y/o in the house kill people. Very sad

This is what an irresponsible gun owner looks like.

I knew a 32 year old GRANDMOTHER.

She and her daughter both pregnant at the age of 15 or 16.

A pillow can't pull a trigger on a gun, and I can only think of one pistol that fires from pressure on the frame and it's an antique. So either she or the kid pulled the trigger.

Guns just don't go off, she had it under her pillow cocked and locked with the safety off?

If the gun was on under the pillow how did the kid get shoot in the chest? I bet their are more details to this story then being reported at this point.

If the gun was "cocked and locked" the safety would be engaged. That is the "locked" part. If the safety was off it would just be cocked.

That's tragic and entirely avoidable. Your honor, the defense rest. Holy shite
