I haven’t looked up the law, but does the ADA make a distinction between “service animal” and “support animal”? A true service dog is a highly trained tool for someone, a support animal has a vest from Amazon and will bite kids in the face. People that push support animals off as service animals deserve to have their butts kicked.

Yes.

99% of ESAs are family pets that the owner just doesn't want to be separated from.

Yes, I would.

Then I would be praised by the media for protecting a black person and their property from a white supremacist and gain 500k twitter followers overnight, bragging about how I killed you in front of your daughter.

Profit.

Oh and the woman running away from the restaurant then yelling “It was your daughter’s fault” at the father? Classy.

I’d have lost my shite on her and her damned dog at that moment.

I don't know much about service dogs. One time I had to go to a place in Atlanta that specializes in different things for people with disabilities. I had to go for driving and another area they specialized in were service dogs.

Those dogs, which if I recall were all labs, were like no dogs I ever seen. It was as if they were trained to not attract attention to themselves. To come across a good bit of people with them, who were there working with the dog that was being trained for them.

They can be around a lot of people and they just look straight ahead an ignore everything going on around them. They are there to truly be of service to the person they are servicing..

Anyway, my point is.. How does a pit bull become a service dog? Do they even have the skills an attributes to be a service dog? Or is there other types of service dogs besides for the blind?

This is the logical reaction. Too bad nowadays people lack the concept of logic.

Sidebar: before I was born my grandmother owned a poodle. From all reports I’ve been told she loved that dog like a child. It was older and had been the family pet for years. One day when may parents brought my older brother over (he was a newborn baby at the time) they laid my brother down on an ottoman in the living room. Apparently the dog didn’t like the baby being in his spot so it jumped up on the ottoman and bit him. My grandmother immediately picked up the dog, handed it to my uncle who was also there (he had just got home on leave from Vietnam) and told him to take it out and shoot it. She didn’t even blink an eye. And he did as his momma told him without hesitation.

Did the dad slit that dogs throat and burn the carcass yet?

No the chicken shits ran off and were luckily caught and got their plates so they could identify and hopefully put down this animal.

Yes, a service dog is for a recognized disability and has a specific task it performs for the owner due to that disability. An emotional support animal is for someone who is not disabled or if they are disabled, do not need an animal for the disability. They are basically pets. ADA does not require training or certification, but it does lay out what is required of the animal to be able to access public areas.

Information will be passed on to the district attorney’s office to determine if charges are warranted.

Her dog attached a 3 YO, and then she fled the scene! The pitt owner will probably hide the dog, so that it can attack again.

My favorite thing about pit bull service dogs is that they would travel over the roughest terrain, swim across the deepest ocean, and withstand the harshest conditions just to bite a small child.

Trashy arse people and their damn pitbulls. They should be banned from public and anyone who owns one should be arrested.

What idiotic trainers trained a pitbull as a service dog? Bitch was probably lying.

Why don’t you come on and arrest me over my pitbull ownership.

A pit bull would never be considered a service dog as they are far too stupid.
People confuse "service dogs" and "emotional-support dogs". No way that was a service dog. It probably had a vest, but it wasn't a service dog.
