And Paul Walker

Paul died while sitting in the garage in his car? News to everyone. This recall is about garage fires caused by the Tesla charging system

The road hazard fires are still under investigation, and could lead to yet another Tesla recall

I make my money in O&G but I love Tesla and hope they become more mainstream. As well as automated, driverless cars. OP is obsessed.

What is with this board's obsession with this automobile?

It's really more League Champ's obsession. If Tesla has the slightest hint of bad news, he's reporting it. The more misleading, the better.

I've asked him what his real stake in this is but he never answers. Tells me all I need to know right there concerning the integrity of the information.

I saw 3 in a body shop in N. Dallas that does high end car work(3 is a lot percentage wise). Apparently the drivers can't hear the acceleration of the motor, get to speed faster than they think, and they lose control. I'll keep my gas engine over the favorite of tech weenies.

Holy shite be careful criticizing the Jesus fish car lest you be accused of being a shill for the oil and gas industry.

so your point exactly?

ps wasn't the tesla recall 100% of the units produced?
quote:

Worldwide vehicle sales at Toyota, rose 2.4 percent to 9.98 million units last year, the Toyota City, Japan-based automaker said in a statement yesterday. That compared with the 9.71 million units sold by GM and over 9.7 million units at VW. Sales will probably rise to 10.32 million units this year, Toyota said.

toyota has sold roughly 10million cars a year for the last 4 years so 2 million recalls out of 40 mil of total vehicles sold in that time or 5%.

wait, you think a Prius = Tesla in terms of the technology?

they've also been established a good bit longer. The tesla "recall" was done via mail and over the air updates

and the 1.9 million is just for this recall. They recalled 5.3 million last year too.
