The gangs are not drug-related. They are just based off of where the guys live. They all have grown up together in the same area their entire lives, and that's how they are formed, and that's how the lines are drawn. The neighborhood lines are clearly defined in the vast majority of the city, and people stick to their areas. None of them have to be dealing drugs for it to be a gang. There are many where only one guy deals drugs and the rest of them don't frick with that.
This fight was probably either just two fricked up guys being macho, or them having an existing problem from something that happened elsewhere. It is not from fighting over drug turf, no matter what anyone says. I guess some of you guys do not understand how little value is placed on life here. Shooting someone is just another thing that happens. There doesn't have to be a reason other than "frick that dude" for someone to shoot another person

I'll post some more updated ones when I get the chance. fact remains: most (90%+/-) violent crime is done by AA males 15-24 years old in new orleans
