Just look her dead in the eye and with a smile on your face say to her

"I hope the rest of your day is as pleasant as you are."

I like to hold the door open for people when they are still 10 yards from the door.

I don't hold the door open for a woman because she's a woman, I do it because I am gentleman.

Some lady yelled at me yesterday at Willis Tower for opening the door for her and letting her go before me. She screamed that she is more than capable of opening the door all by herself. I let the door close on her and walked in front of her instead. I can't believe 21% of people think this is sexist but then again maybe I'm a product of my generation.

what if I open the door for everyone...?

Hmm I didn't realize the door hold originated bc men felt women were too feeble to open doors. I always assumed it was just manners. Why open a door twice that can be opened once?

Is it sexist if a guy hold the door open for a guy?

Is that emasculating?

Whatever the origin, today it is a quick and easy trick to identify SJWs. Now we just need to establish seasons and bag limits.

Not sure if this transcends racial lines but black ladies LOVE anyone who will hold a door open for them.

They are surely not contributing to this 21%.

You should have told her "I know you are, but I'm not capable of checking out that arse if I don't open this door and let you walk in front of me."

I hold the door open for anyone who is within a few feet behind me. To me, I'd be a huge a-hole to let a door close in someone's face.

I hold the door for anyone who is entering at the same time as myself as long as it's not a crowd, man or woman. It's just a common courtesy and politeness.
