$25 monthly premium
$300 annual deductible
$30 copay
$45 specialists
Tricare Select Retiree (Army). I do feel very fortunate
There is no free lunch and insurance is nothing more than a fancy funding scam.

What did Brandon's Buddy do about Health Insurance rates?
Started Obamacare where everyone gets insurance sick, poor or not. So the healthy working class pays extra to cover the ones who can't afford it.
He pretty much gave the insurance companies the right to charge whatever they wanted and most plans went up 400-500%.

And what’s their health like
I don’t think their poor health is from them paying less for their healthcare like you’re implying.
They have poor health because of poor health literacy and apathy.

It blows my mind that health insurance is tied to employment and employer size. Should be the same price for everyone in the country. Want plan A here is the premium not oh your get to pay half as much because your employer has 100 employees. You should be able to shop it around and buy just like auto insurance. I work for a small company 10 employees and am paying 500 a month more for the same plan we had when my wife worked for a large home health company.
