We're estimating the base price will be around $42,000 including a mandatory destination charge (Ford hasn't yet released the exact destination charge).
The XLT will start around $55,000 and the Lariat and Platinum versions will be considerably more expensive—Ford says it will go up to $90,000.

With the Standard-Range battery, the motors combine to make 426 horsepower but with the Extended-Range battery the horsepower rating rises to 563; peak torque is an impressive 775 lb-ft with either setup.

The official maximum towing capacity of the production model is a mere 10,000 pounds
quote:
Lariat and Platinum models come with an even larger 15.0-inch display.
Not quoted here, but read elsewhere that it will be 0-60 in about 4 seconds.

I think there's already been at least 2 threads on it, one on the first page.

I'd like to see how it holds up to towing 10,000 lbs in the real world. Call me skeptical, I have this vision of towing distance decreasing dramatically with weight. 230 miles becomes 100 miles, or, not enough for a round trip.
Plus, it's a Ford. I don't have confidence in their vehicles that they have 100 years experience building, I have zero confidence in their ability to do something new.
How does it fare in real truck-use? Daily driving on red clay roads, farm fields, towing, driving with a load, dirt and dust in the air... and so on? I'm sure guys that live in Condos will love these things.
Kudos to them, though.

Thats not the market for this truck
The market is white collar baws that have no real need for a truck but want a truck
Probably 50% of truck owners are in this category at this point

I have a need for a truck bed, but I rarely actually tow something. I use my truck 90% for work travel. I think it would be good for someone like me. I would forget to plug it in and be SOL more often than not though.

I think it looks awesome. My concern is the availability of charging stations nationwide. What if I want to travel somewhere that doesn’t have them, is that addressed? Probably so but just going off of first glance here.

If they are planning to phase out ICE engines in the next decade, this better be their target soon...

what about the Baws who are in the market for a Frunk? Because a truck bed and double cab weren’t enough storage.

I hear this shite on this board a lot.
I’m on my 4th F-150 and have literally never had any issues. Currently at 155,000 on a 2015 Lariat and it runs flawlessly. I plan to drive it to 250k+

This is me. But man when I need a truck, sure glad I have mine. Cannot imagine not having it at this point.
