Funny.... the system in my wife's Tahoe was terrible.
..... but what do I know... I'm just a former USAC and IASCA 251-500w champion.
Seriously... never thought it sounded good. The one in my new Tundra is above average at best and sounds WAY better than the Tahoe.

I'm sure like every other rental I've drive the bass and treble are all the way up. EVERY stock radio should be left with the bass and treble in the middle, and if you don't agree...SONIC!

I would venture a guess that 98% of people can't tell the difference between most high end stereos in vehicles. I've heard Harman Kardon/Bang & Olufsen/JBL/Mark Levinson, Bose, etc, and I think they all sound great, so I'm curious how you conclude that the speakers in the Tahoe are best "and it's not even close" with just your ears and no other equipment?
