The incarceration rate of white people in America alone is something like 450 per 100000 people. That's higher than Russia's and top ten in the world.

Hate Crimes are at the discretion of the authorities. Nobody wants to charge blacks with hate crimes. Especially the past eight years with Holder and Lynch.

There's a lot of hate crimes that are not prosecuted as such in both races. In that case, it was easier to send him away for a long time as a repeat violent offender that proving a hate crime. But yeah, that was a hate crime based on what he allegedly told the white dude

The purpose of hate crime legislation was to protect minorities.

The last time I saw FBI crime statistics they included whites and hispancis as one group...why is that? Yet they will list native Americans, asians, eskimoes seperately.

Not reading all that....... but let me take a stab at it. The people committing the most crimes have the highest crime stats and certain groups commit a higher rate of crime than other group proportional to the size of the group.

You post stuff you know everyone will argue with you about. I have a few guesses as to why.
1. You are a troll
2. You Feel strongly to relate everything to race for no reason other than to cause friction
3. You relate everything to race because you feel like you can make a difference for black people and better the lives of some(I could respect this one)

Don't forget about the 4-5 blacks that raped and killed a woman and set her bf on fire in Memphis a few years back. Amazing how those crimes don't get the media attention like the Trayvon Martin case which touted Zimmerman as a white hispanic.

A few things...
1. Black people have to do something pretty bad to be charged with a "hate crime" against a white person. A white person can commit a crime against a black person that's "kind of" racist and be charged with a hate crime.
2. Even knowing that, 24% of hate crimes are committed by 13% of the population (black people). 48% of the hate crimes are committed by 65% of the population (white people). So black people are committing hate crimes at a rate nearly double their population size. White people are committing hate crimes at a much lower rate than their population numbers.
3. Hispanics are counted as "white" in the hate crime offender numbers. So the number of non-hispanic whites committing hate crimes is actually lower than 48%.
4. One point in your favor is that because the black population is so much smaller than the white population, black people are more likely to be victims of hate crime compared to white people. But black people are also more likely to commit a hate crime.
