“Space” isn’t real
If there was a bubble around the earth holding the air in the “spaceships” would’ve popped it and we’d all drown

Somebody has to haul all of that material up. $$$
Even if there were designs for places like that, -nobody- is going to foot the bill to launch all of that weight.

Whenever we come up with cheaper propulsion to orbit. It's the same reason why manned spaceflight currently makes no sense. We can get way more science done far far cheaper via unmanned craft, and until we discover cheaper ways too orbit is the only thing that makes sense.
