I'd take a dinner with my mom over 20m where she would proceed to tell me how stupid that was to do.

If I could bring back my Mother (free of cancer) and she would have 10 years of good quality life there would be no choice, she'd be back today.

A nice house.
A nice car.
Land to roam on.

Fine dining.
Attending major sporting events.
Giving big donations to charities.
Buying your loved ones really nice things.

Know how you can do all of these things?

the cash

but only because I am lucky enough to not have lost anyone young

I wouldn't do that for anyone over about 40 (and I am 56 myself).

I'd take the cash right now.

If my kid died I'd take the 20 years

I would take the loved one. I would write a few books on the afterlife and what went on and have them published, speaking your, etc and pocket well over 20 million.

Win/win

Probably the only way I wouldn't take the money is if was one of my kids.

It's fairly easy to see who's never really lost anyone outside the normal cycle of life in this thread. I'd take the loved ones without even blinking an eye.

Money.

I know I don't want to be brought back after I die.

Dad passed 3.5 months ago at 64. I would do anything for him to have had more time.

Buying yourself new toys and experiences gets old quick. Having loved ones to spend time with is worth way more. Carry on OT.

If it means none of the health issues they had in life, easy choice for me. I'd have my nephew back.

I would bring my grandfather back, money is good but having the opportunity to have the fishing trips back would be worth more than the money. Plus I would like to think he would get a kick out of my son who has his same name

Since the only family I've really lost were uncles and grandparents, I'd have taken the money. I asked my dad this question and he said he'd give anything to have another year much less 20 with his older sister.

She died when she was 18 years old during the vietnam war, viet cong were just shooting up random arse alleyways. She was literally 20 steps from the front of the house after coming home from work/selling food on the corners and got hit. My dad heard the shots and a shreak, ran outside, and she passed shortly after
