People might not get in as many wrecks in BR, but I get pissed off with other drivers on the road in Baton Rouge WAY more often than in New Orleans. People drive like fricking idiots here.

You are Baton Rouge (and nearing 40 or older) if you can still sing the "We Play Baton Rouge" game show theme song.
Or if you have one of the foam bricks from that show.
We Play Baton Rouge

Do I need to end every post with "imo" to help yall comprehend that?
When confronted with facts that go directly against your opinion you just dismissed the facts.
Having lived in NOLA and BR I will say that they are largely the same.

It's just way more frustrating driving with the slow/dumb drivers in BR. They're way too indecisive or defensive, which is probably why they get in less accidents. New Orleans drivers tend to be much more aggressive and decisive

You held on to your job during the recession. what does this have to do with being from BR? I'm sure many people across the country did as well..
Actually, it's exceptionally appropriate for Baton Rouge. Baton Rouge wasn't drastically effected by the recession when compared to the rest of the nation - particularly, real estate markets in Florida, Vegas, Calif, Hawaii...
Louisiana, in general, doesn't trend the same as most states across the country.

Nothing about this bullshite other than #1 is true.

I wanted to kill equally as many people when I lived in both BR people seem to drive "dumber" and "slower" but seem to still be polite. NOLA people seem to drive like New York assholes. So I wanted to kill both, but just for different reasons
I can agree with this. But the dumber and slower makes me angrier

List was pretty funny to me. Scotty Mac wrote that? He's been in BR long enough if he's not a native. I listened as a kid in early 80s.

Yeah, but I drive in BR more.

You live In a neighborhood with a lame arse name that is one way in and one way out. Your head would expode if they connected the roads in your neighborhood to thru traffic despite being in the middle of town. Same for if the road to get to your neighborhood was widened, yet bitches about traffic.
Also buys the empty lot next to your house in the 70s and does nothing with it but spent half of lifetime mowing it so you can feel like you don't have neighbors living in the middle of town in your walled off, disconnected, no thru traffic subdivision with one lane road that leads to it.
