It's worth heading to a walk in clinic now and get swabbed for strep, flu, etc. Get on antibiotics now and you should be good to go on vacay!

All you can do.
ETA:
Besides, of course, getting swabbed and getting antibiotics if it's strep or tamiflu if it's the flu and you're ok giving it to kids (unusual this time of year though)
