What he is suggesting is actually the reality more frequently than not.

You would think so but then situations like this occur involving ghetto trash and it becomes obvious they need the back up. They should have figured out some state charges to throw at them and make them pay lawyer fees to get them off.
I'd agree if there were any sort of evidence that the two guys were threatening people, but that doesn't seem to be the case. They were just stupid and refusing the leave the premise.
More cops does not equal better. Smarter cops is what equals better.

I know that. It's also one of the reasons these situations end up getting blown out of proportion by the media and such.

Two men refusing to leave an establishment is absolutely a sign that things could get agressive. To say it isn't is what I would call lunacy

You are literally an embarrassment to the human race.

Plus we have seen many times in the past cops killing first and then asking questions later. Their defense, is they are scared for their life, which allows one to shoot to kill.
What does that have to do with this incident? Your comments make no sense.

Hence the reason you assess the situation before making a call for backup.
Do you actually believe that more cops at every situation automatically makes it better? That's a flat out asinine assumption.

Bicycle cops to add insult to injury seem to have been involved

I beleive that more cops is absolutely better in situations in which things could get agressive, which is this situation, which is why you calling it excessive in your first post is ridiculous

It is better to have them there and not need them.

You can’t just sit in a coffee shop and not order anything. It doesn’t help that these guys were dressed like they are hanging out on a corner.
They were waiting on someone to arrive. The man was going to sit down with them and talk real estate and buy them coffee. The man arrived as they were being arrested. By the way, charges were dropped because of lack of evidence. They will get paid .

Haven’t watched the video and I won’t watch the video because I can already tell you the cops were in the right. Every racist cop argument is completely retarded.

What "got aggressive"? These guys were arrested for being too stupid to realize that they were committing a crime. Notice there is no mention of resisting arrest or any sort of charge for being violent.
You've lost your grip on this situation.

quote:Why did you leave out the ever important part of the two men informing the barista that they were waiting on a friend that chose that location to meet and they gentleman that they were waiting on showed up just as they were getting cuffed?
The black police chief gave a statement. This is cut and dry and the cops did a great job
Starbucks saw two me enter store
Starbucks told them nothing
After a while, without ordering, man used restroom
Employees told them that was for customers only
The men refused to order anything or leave
The employees called the cops
The cops came and asked the men to leave
The men again refused
The cops called their supervisor
Their supervisor arrived and told the men to leave, and asked them to leave so they would not have to arrest them
The men refused again
They were then arrested and cuffed without a physical confrontation
