If the black guys would of got violent and force was necessary because only two cops were present, you would be complaining that if only more cops would have showed up that level of force wouldn’t have been necessary.
why is what color the guys were important? doesn't matter what color the guys were, or at least, it shouldn't...

That’s the problem with people like you. Always complain about something.
guess you didn't see where i said they were wrong for not leaving and that the situation probably did warrant police intervention.... the entire situation could have been avoided that they just bought a cup a coffee, or just left when asked... but they didn't, and that decision does come with a consequence.... overall, i agree with everything but the # of police that were involved... other than that, everything else seems pretty self-explanatory...
i feel the exact same way when i see a 2 car fender bender and you have 3 police vehicles there... it just seems like overkill...

They generally respond if they're in the area.
If there were too few cops people would bitch.

Why do people keep repeating this like it’s some kind of justification?
If you are consuming resources (like using the restroom and occupying space), and if you are not paying into the system, the business can kick you out.
Otherwise, you are just a damn freeloader.

This is probably the most retarded anti cop story in recent times. And that comment is coming from a supposed big time private property defender
Completely agree.

Yep, I will always buy something even if just waiting on someone. It's just courtesy, and in some places, policy.

Man you really need some other shite to worry about if this bothers you.

so you'd rather the police be just sitting in their cars doing nothing?

i'm not losing any sleep over it....
and generally, i agree that this should be a non-story, as the 2 dudes were wrong for their action, and that the race angle is being played, when it really shouldn't...

Same here. Some people in this thread are acting like they have a right to the coffee shop’s space.
It’s not a public library.

nah, frick it... bring the whole fricking squad down there and let them sit there and help with the benign situation....

Yep. And think about how quickly space in a Philadelphia coffee shop fills up, I'm sure stores in densely populated areas like that are way more strict on freeloader policies.

I was thinking the same thing. Many businesses in large cities don’t put up with that.

I see nothing wrong.

"bit" would have been another officer, maybe 2, for backup... after all, you ARE armed, as well... you really NEED 8 officers for 2 perps, both of whom were unarmed?
Been pulled over before, two cars, 4 cops and I'm one skinny white guy.

Exactly.
People are so ignorant to how police operate. For all we know, four FTOs and their trainees rolled up to that Starbucks.

Because I don’t know the name of the two guys and they are described in the subject as 2 black guys. That’s why I called them 2 black guys you race baiting bitch.

It was the scared employees that called the cops when they refused to leave.

Many here don't. The procedure for having them removed is different though. They have to be served a trespass notice first.
